Hello!

I am Martina Lasku, a Detroit-based multidisciplinary designer—or as I like to call myself, a multidimensional designer, born and raised in Monza, Italy. My love for art began in childhood, when I spent every moment drawing. During high school, I attended the "Nanni Valentini" Art School, where I focused on architecture. At 15, I moved from Monza to Detroit, Michigan, and it was there that I discovered digital media, igniting my passion for visual storytelling and communication.

I earned an Associate Degree in Design and Layout and Multimedia at Macomb Community College before pursuing a BFA in Communication Design and Strategy at the College for Creative Studies. My interests span print, motion, brand identity, experience, and interactive design. I focus on research, strategy, and creating work that challenges audiences and inspires new perspectives.

At CCS, I co-founded Spine, a self-publishing yearbook for the Communication Design department, where I serve as Vice President. I am also proud to be the program’s first Risograph technician and an active AIGA member. I deeply value collaboration and believe that hard work leads to meaningful opportunities. Through my work, I aim to challenge conventional thinking and engage audiences in innovative and impactful ways.
